| a motor issue due to overheating. The main issues are a fan that is from a CFM perspective strong enough, a functional shroud, the draw on the altenator at idle if the fan is set to run 100% , and the issue of overheating if the temp switch / relay fails. Personally - because of the temp switch / relay being a cheap component that drives a critical part - I backed off. I would hate to lose a 5k engine due to a < $20 part. The list is long and documented of 300zx people with overheating issues and the list is very very short of people with the OEM setup with high engine temps.
